Governor Announces Josephine County Circuit Court Judicial Vacancy
(Salem, OR) – Today Governor Ted Kulongoski announced the retirement of the Honorable Allan H. Coon from the Josephine County Circuit Court, effective December 31, 2005. Governor Kulongoski thanks Judge Coon for his service to Josephine County and to the people of Oregon.
The Governor will fill this vacancy by appointment. Applicants for the vacancy created by the October retirement of Josephine County Circuit Court Judge Gerald Neufeld will be considered for appointment to both vacant seats. In addition, the Governor will now accept Interest Forms from new applicants who did not apply for the first vacancy.
Applicants who did not apply for the first vacancy must submit an Interest Form for Judicial Appointment to the Governor’s Office, which is available online at www.governor.oregon.gov.
