Governor Orders Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff to Honor Rosa Parks
(Salem, OR) –Governor Theodore R. Kulongoski asked that all flags at public institutions be flown at half-staff in memory and honor of Rosa Parks on Wednesday, November 2.
"Through a single act of defiance, Rosa Parks fueled hope and inspired change for all Americans," said Governor Kulongoski. "Her memory lives on through our continued work toward equality and human rights."
