Statement of Governor Kulongoski
I am in receipt of a letter dated August 20, 2004 from State Treasurer Randall Edwards and Chair of the Oregon Investment Council (OIC), Gerard Drummond, stating their intentions to undertake a best practices evaluation of conflicts of interest policies and practices of the OIC. I have previously discussed these matters with the Treasurer and Chair Drummond and appreciate their response to my inquiries.
