Governor issues flags at half-staff for Pearl Harbor Day
(Salem) – Governor Ted Kulongoski today ordered that that all flags at public institutions be flown at half-staff on Sunday, December 7, 2008 in remembrance of Pearl Harbor.
“On this 67th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day, we should take a moment to pay tribute to those Americans who gave their lives fighting for their country,” Governor Kulongoski said. “Pearl Harbor Day is a day not only to remember the veterans of past, but to also remember the men and women currently serving overseas.”
