Governor Kulongoski Announces Judicial Appointment
Keith Rogers Appointed to the Washington County Circuit Court
Salem – Governor Ted Kulongoski today announced his appointment of Keith Rogers to the Washington County Circuit Court. Judge Rogers will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Tim Alexander, effective December 31, 2007.
Keith Rogers received his JD from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1976. He has been the Director of the Washington County Office of the Metropolitan Public Defender since 1998 and served as a staff attorney in that office from 1981-1991. He started his career as a lawyer for Legal Services in Albany and Pendleton and had a private law practice in Hillsboro for seven years. Keith Rogers is the president of the Washington County Bar Association and a member of the Washington County Public Safety Coordinating Council.
