Governor's Office Announces Appointment of Deputy General Counsel
 
Salem – The Governor’s Office announced today that Amber Hollister has been named the Governor’s deputy general counsel, following the move of former deputy Kelly Skye to the position of general counsel.
 
As deputy general counsel, Ms. Hollister will work closely with the general counsel to provide general legal advice to the Governor and his staff, serve as the Governor’s liaison with the nine federally recognized tribes in the state and oversee the Governor’s judicial appointment process.   
 
Ms. Hollister is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law and is currently an associate at the Portland firm of Perkins Coie LLP.
