Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Patriot Day
Flags to be lowered Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in observance of Patriot Day
Salem – Today Governor Ted Kulongoski ordered all flags at public institutions be flown at half-staff throughout Oregon on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in observance of Patriot Day.
“As we reflect on the events of six years ago, we remember the innocent people who lost their lives on that terrible day,” said Governor Kulongoski. “As Oregonians, we stand more united today and we reach out to our fellow citizens during this period of grief and remembrance.”
