Governor Kulongoski Announces Judicial Appointments
 
Appointments made to the Tillamook and Curry County Circuit Courts
 
Salem – Governor Ted Kulongoski today announced the appointment of Mari Garric Trevino to the Tillamook County Circuit Court and Cynthia Lynnae Beaman to the Curry County Circuit Court. 
 
The appointment of Mari Garric Trevino will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David Hantke, and the appointment of Cynthia Beaman will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Richard Mickelson.
 
Mari Garric Trevino received her JD from the University of Washington School of law in 1989.  She currently serves as a half-time Circuit Court Judge Pro Tem in Tillamook County and also maintains a private practice focused on criminal, juvenile and probate law and real estate transactional work.  Prior to her practice in Tillamook County, Ms. Trevino was a prosecutor in Seattle.
 
Cynthia Beaman received her JD from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1997.  She currently is in private practice in Brookings, handling primarily criminal law and related matters.  Prior to her practice in Brookings, Ms. Beaman worked at Southwestern Oregon Public Defender.
